Bitcoin Price Prediction: A Divergence in Views
Cryptocurrency analyst Samson Mow has made a bold prediction about Bitcoin’s price, asserting that it will not gradually reach $1 million. Instead, he anticipates a sharp rise over a brief period of time.
“When you look at the collapse of fiat currencies, it doesn’t happen slowly; it happens suddenly and violently. My $1 million Bitcoin prediction is based on this,” Mow stated. “It will be a short, sharp rise over weeks or months.”
However, this assertive stance was contested by another well-known analyst, PlanB. He referred to Mow’s comments as “unrealistic expectations,” explaining:
- Bitcoin is unlikely to attain $1 million in mere weeks or months.
- I understand and appreciate that Mow is fostering a trend encouraging Bitcoin adoption. However, at this stage, such rhetoric risks misleading new investors.
- There will be significant profit-taking at intermediate price points.
- What we’re observing this cycle is a steady, less volatile increase. The $1 million target is considerably more likely to be realized in about 6–8 years.
